After the March 5, 2025 deadline, JAMS is no longer accepting applications.
Finalists will be notified on March 19, and scholarship recipients will be announced on April 4, 2025.
About the
JAMS Scholarship
JAMS recognizes outstanding accomplishments of students in at least one category including academics, athletics, the arts, community leadership or other interests.
The scholarship is open to:
- All eighth graders attending any middle school
OR - Any high school student who is not currently attending a Jewish high school in the Atlanta area

$20,000 for tuition at an Atlanta-area Jewish high school (not to exceed 55% of tuition)*Pursue Your Passion:

JAMS encourages you to deepen your knowledge and explore new opportunities with up to $5,000 for approved school-sponsored extracurricular activities that empower you to grow personally, connect with like-minded peers and widen your experiences.

JAMS invests in future Jewish leaders by recognizing and supporting high-achieving students. This scholarship empowers students to pursue their passions, excel academically, embrace their Jewish identity, and engage with the greater Jewish community. Scholarship recipients benefit from a values-driven education built on Jewish traditions that build character, leadership and connection.
Who Can Apply?
JAMS is open to any student who meets these requirements:
Current eighth grader at any school OR a high school student not currently attending a Jewish high school in the greater Atlanta area during the 2024-25 school year.
Complete an application for admission to, or registration to enroll in, at least one Jewish high school.
Has achieved notable accomplishments or demonstrated excellence in at least one category including academics, athletics, the arts, community leadership or other interests. JAMS encourages students who have achieved excellence in any area of interest to apply.
Has a desire to build or strengthen their connection to the Jewish community and its values and culture by joining a vibrant and supportive Jewish high school community. No prior connection to the Jewish community is required.
Is not the child of an individual who is employed by a JAMS partner or sponsor, including the Marcus Foundation, the Zalik Foundation, and the Jewish Federation of Greater Atlanta.
